Every year, the last weekend of April brings together an army of bikers, united by a single goal: participate in a major fundraiser for the fight against cancer.
The Beginning of a Rose a Hope
Under the banner of solidarity and passion for motorcycling, the event "Une Rose Un Espoir" finds its roots in the personal experience of Bernard Braun, resident of Coin sur Seille (Moselle-57). Faced for years with the harsh reality of cancer through his loved ones, he decided to combine his passion with a humanitarian objective.
This is how the association "Une Rose Un Espoir" was born in 2001, symbolizing hope in the face of this disease. With his biker friends, Bernard Braun orchestrates a special weekend, where generosity and solidarity are the key words. The first edition sees 45 volunteer bikers collect the impressive sum of 55,000 francs for cancer research.

Today more than ever together
In 2024, the spirit of solidarity is not weakening. In Forbach, 300 motorcycles crisscross the roads for an entire weekend, carrying hope and determination with them. For Sébastien Birster, president of Une Rose Un Espoir, Forbach sector, safety remains an absolute priority. "On this, we are uncompromising. There is no wheeling, no burnouts, no negative representations for the association," he emphasizes.
This rigor has become the emblem of the association in the region, to the point that it is requested, with the association ForBikes Bikers from Forbach, for support the city of Forbach and the police in order to supervise the passage of the Olympic flame on June 27!
This 2024 edition, marked by generosity and mobilization, sees the distribution of more than 27,000 roses throughout Forbach. Each rose is a symbol of hope, carrying the message of solidarity and commitment.
Off the Tracks is very happy to have been able to participate in its own way in the event, by offering technical neck warmers in the weekend raffle, as well as a discount code valid for all participants of the event "One Rose One Hope".
The highlight of this mobilization will be the presentation of the check from the Forbach sector on June 2 at the village hall. Expectations are high: will the donation record be broken this year? At the national level, the meeting is set for June 23 in St Avold (57).
Together, bikers and citizens are mobilizing for the same fight: that of life. Through the kilometers traveled, whatever the weather, the roses distributed and the donations collected, "Une Rose Un Espoir" embodies hope, solidarity and determination to defeat cancer.
